John Wilcox, APRN, FNP-BC

John Wilcox is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. John completed his Associates of Science in Nursing degree at Yavapai College with honors and completed his Bachelor of Science in nursing degree and his Master of Science in Nursing through Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.  As an Area Health Education Centers scholar, John’s schooling focused on delivering healthcare in rural and underserved communities and meeting the challenges faced in serving rural communities.

His career in healthcare began in 2014 and he has worked in inpatient Telemetry and Emergency as a Registered Nurse. During his career and schooling he has worked alongside many specialists and providers expanding his knowledge base to better serve his patients. While dedicated to delivering the most current standards of care, he prioritizes staying current with practice knowledge while respecting patient autonomy and unique cultural and individual preferences.
