Dr. Onyria Gillmor, Naturopathic Physician (ND)
Dr. Onyria Gillmor earned her doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in 2013 graduating with honors. She has been practicing family medicine in the Portland Metro area for the last 9 years. Throughout that time her practice has been focused on pediatrics and women’s health, but she greatly enjoys practicing family medicine which allows her to work with patients of all ages, genders and needs. She enjoys an integrative approach to family medicine which allows her to utilize the best of naturopathic and conventional medicine to support health.
Dr. Oni brings a lifetime of passion and interest in the art and science of healing. She earned her B.S. in microbiology in 2005 from the University of Arizona. During this time, she also pursued midwifery licensure, earning her license in the spring of 2007. Following graduation from the University of Arizona, she worked as a research associate for the University of Arizona Cancer Center to support the advancement of cancer therapies. She then relocated to Eugene, Oregon where she worked as a midwife at an out-of-hospital birthing center for three years before moving back to Arizona to attend medical school.
Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Oni moved to Portland to work as a midwife and naturopathic doctor at Andaluz Waterbirth Center. Dr. Oni began her naturopathic career with a focus on pediatrics, infertility, and women’s medicine. After several years of practice, Dr. Oni’s focus expanded as her patients and their families have grown, and she enjoys bringing her passion and care to the cause of improving lives, families, and communities.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Oni loves spending time with her partner, her two children, and her corgi (named Fennec because of his giant fox ears), gardening, baking, and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
